Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP), the country’s leading mobility company, has turned over ten Toyota Lite Ace utility vans to the city governments of Santa Rosa and Pasay, each unit equipped with a one-year free subscription of ‘myToyota Shuttle PH’ and Fleet Connected Service applications from Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines, Inc. (TMSPH).

The myToyota Shuttle PH app streamlines on-demand shuttle management by optimizing route planning and seat booking.

Meanwhile, the Fleet Connected Service offers real-time GPS tracking, monitoring vehicle location, condition, and driving behavior for seamless trip planning and management.

Under the Toyota Community Shuttle (TCS) program, TMP provided a free service for nearly 14 months, achieving positive results. Since its launch in December 2023, TMSPH recorded over 10,000 unique users in Santa Rosa and more than 2,300 in Pasay, with a total of 102,000 passenger trips.

A post-experience survey among myToyota Shuttle PH users showed overwhelming support, with an average of 98 percent favoring an app-based system for public transportation.

Santa Rosa and Pasay are committed to integrating technological and digital solutions into their urban development plans as they pursue their goals of becoming a “High-Level Smart City” and a “Smart and Sustainable Eco City,” respectively.

Aligned with Toyota’s global CASE (Connected, Autonomous/Automated, Shared, and Electrified) mobility concept, TMP and TMSPH continue to develop hardware and software solutions that enhance public transportation and urban mobility in the Philippines.
