Business process outsourcing firm Foundever, formerly Sitel and SYKES, launched a nationwide environmental campaign in the Philippines in January, the company said.
The “3G (Go Green Goal)” campaign aims to promote environmental awareness and encourage employees to adopt sustainable living practices, Foundever said in a statement.
The company, recognized as a “Great Place To Work,” said the initiative supports the Philippines’ Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (Republic Act No. 9003) by encouraging employees to participate in waste management and adopt sustainable practices.
The 30-day campaign featured weekly themes focused on waste reduction and mindful living, with tips and practices for employees to adopt, including steps towards a zero-waste lifestyle.
“At Foundever, we believe that our workplace culture is defined by the values we share and the impact we create,” said Willy Lim, vice president for human resources at Foundever in the Philippines.
“The 3G campaign is a perfect example of how we encourage our associates to live up to the values we uphold as a company,” said Lim.
Nearly 4,000 employees participated in a webinar on sustainable living, featuring a keynote session by Czar Carbonel, co-founder and CEO of sustainable personal care company MAGWAI.
Carbonel shared insights into practical sustainable living solutions, motivating employees to make eco-conscious choices both professionally and personally.
