Cebu Pacific transferring turboprop flights to Clark

Cebu Pacific (CEB) said Thursday it will gradually transfer its turboprop aircraft operations from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 to nearby airports.

The transfer was in line with the resolution issued by the Manila Slot Coordination Committee of the Department of Transportation on Dec. 3, 2024.

Cebu Pacific said effective March 30, 2025, the Cebgo (DG) flights from Manila to Masbate and Siargao would relocate to Clark International Airport (CRK).

Direct services from Manila to Surigao will be cancelled, and passengers will have the option to connect via Cebu.

Cebu Pacific said it recognizes the importance of managing airport capacity effectively, which will lead to improved passenger experience and greater public convenience.

AirSwift, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cebu Pacific, will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2 until March 2026.

The airline operates as a boutique carrier servicing travelers to iconic Philippine destinations such as El Nido, Coron, Sicogon Island, Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Romblon from Manila and other highly accessible airport terminals.

Cebu Pacific carried 24.5 million domestic and international passengers last year, up 17.6 percent from 20.9 million in 2023.

Domestic passengers reached 18.5 million, up 15 percent, while international passengers grew 24.6 percent to 6 million.

The airline’s seat load factor averaged 84.4 percent, while overall capacity seats grew 17.1 percent to 29.1 million.

Cebu Pacific offers the widest network coverage in the Philippines with 37 domestic c and 26 international destinations.
