Arevalo will take the place of former IPOPHL director-general Rowel Barba whose tenure ended on Dec. 31, 2024. In his interim role, Arevalo will oversee IPOPHL’s functions, activities, and operations, as well as implement rules and regulations aligned with the agency’s goals.

“IPOPHL’s thrust for quality public service will be sustained in this interim as we await the new director general. Stakeholders can expect zero disruptions and continued progress in improving our processes and implementing key programs and policies,” he said.

Meanwhile, Saturnino Mejia was appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as the new general manager of the NDC. He succeeded Antonilo Mauricio who transitioned to the private sector.

With 25 years of experience as assistant general manager of NDC’s special projects group, Mejia has spearheaded functions related to the development of joint ventures and equity investments.
