AF Payments, Inc., the company behind the beep card, teamed up with GHL Systems Philippines, a nationwide payment service provider and payment acquirer.
The strategic alliance allows the beep card to be accepted as mode of payment across all GHL-operated payment terminals.
GHL employs its expertise and extensive network to ensure a seamless in-store transaction process for beep card users. This means that partner merchants of GHL—including Shell and Watsons—will now accept beep cards for payment, further enhancing convenience and accessibility for users. Simply tap to pay and enjoy your purchases.
“The partnership with GHL Systems Philippines highlights our dedication to innovation and enhancing the customer experience. By making transactions more convenient and accelerating the shift towards cashless payments, we are taking a significant step forward in our mission to elevate the digital payment landscape in the Philippines. More importantly, we maintain beep’s accessibility to Filipinos from all walks of life, thereby driving progress that is genuinely inclusive and equitable,” said AF Payments president and chief executive Jonathan Juan Moreno.
Beep is available for purchase at LRT 1, LRT 2 and MRT 3 stations, select convenience stores and retail outlets and online via the official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
The GHL initiative is integral to beep’s growth plan, which is focused on broadening card acceptance in the market.
