2GO moves 3,000 TEUs of essential goods immediately after typhoons

Logistics and sea transport provider 2GO immediately resumed operations following the successive typhoons that hit the country, restoring disrupted supply chains and ensuring the efficient movement of goods and people.

“As a trusted partner for Filipino businesses, the company thrives in the competitive logistics landscape. Its extensive freight and cargo operations are integral to supporting our stakeholders’ supply chains, despite occasional severe weather disturbances,” said 2GO Sea Solutions business unit head Sharon Musngi-Ngo.

“We understand the crucial role logistics plays in the success of businesses and the well-being of communities. At 2GO, we remain committed to being a reliable partner for the Filipino people, delivering excellence, especially during challenging times. Together, we strive to build a brighter, more connected future for the Philippines,” Musngi-Ngo said.

Once the Philippine Coast Guard cleared shipping routes, 2GO swiftly resumed operations, enabling the transport of 3,000 TEUs of essential goods, keeping businesses stay operational that support communities nationwide.

“2GO prides itself on being more than just a logistics provider—it’s a partner in progress and a driver of national growth,” she said.

The company moves 5,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of goods weekly, offering tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of businesses.

Focused on reliability, speed and customer satisfaction, 2GO plays a key role in supporting the growth of enterprises and communities nationwide.

At the core of 2GO’s operations is its ROPAX (roll-on/roll-off passenger) service, which significantly enhances sea travel across the archipelago. By securing priority berthing and departure privileges at 19 key ports, 2GO ensures the efficient movement of goods and people, even under challenging conditions.

2GO’s travel services are vital, providing safe, reliable transport for an average of 23,000 passengers weekly.

Nine out of 10 passengers report high satisfaction with their sea travel experience, according to the company’s latest 2024 passenger satisfaction survey. Notably, small and micro-business owners benefit significantly.

With a generous 50kg luggage allowance, these entrepreneurs can affordably transport their goods, creating new opportunities and expanding their reach across the islands.

“As we connect people and businesses across the Philippines, we also help entrepreneurs grow by supporting their journeys—whether they’re moving goods or tapping into new markets,” said 2GO Travel business unit head Francis Chua.

2GO invites businesses and partners to explore how its comprehensive logistics solutions can streamline operations and unlock new growth opportunities.
