Asian Terminals Inc. said Thursday its net income fell 1.4 percent in the first nine months of 2024 on lower international container volumes.
ATI said it earned P3.16 billion from January to September, down from P3.21 billion it booked in the same period last year.
Revenues in nine-month period amounted to P11.81 billion, up 3.4 percent from P11.42 billion a year ago. Revenues from South Harbor international containerized cargo increased from last year by 11 percent on account of higher container volumes and 6 percent tariff increase effective August 6, 2024.
Earnings from Batangas Container Terminal and ATI Batangas went down by 24.7 percent and 10.3 percent, respectively on lower international container volumes and international RORO volumes, which were partly offset by a higher number of passengers and domestic RORO volume.
