The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said Wednesday it will release on Dec. 4, 2024 a preliminary list of products and services prioritized for local sourcing in government procurement under the Tatak Pinoy Act (TPA).
Speaking at the Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum, Bureau of Policy Research and Innovation (BPRI) acting director Ma. Teresa Faustino said the list would be revealed during the Tatak Pinoy Summit.
“We are currently reviewing and updating industry roadmaps, which will provide insights into the status and development of key sectors,” she said.
The DTI will also report on the progress of the TPA’s implementation during the event, following the release of its guidelines in May this year.
Faustino said the summit would serve as a platform to present a multi-year strategy for the TPA, including programs and activities aimed at supporting its objectives.
