PAL rolls out exclusive seat sale to Brisbane

Philippine Airlines (PAL) said Friday it teamed up with Queensland Australia to roll out an exclusive seat sale for nonstop flights to Brisbane.

The airline unit of tycoon Lucio Tan said travelers could enjoy a one-way base fare of as low as $371 and roundtrip base fare of $501.

The sale celebrates the expansion of PAL’s Brisbane services in the current offering of daily Manila-Brisbane and Brisbane-Manila flights.

Queensland Australia is the state tourism board promoting Filipino tourist travel to Brisbane, the capital of Australia’s vast Queensland region.

“To jumpstart the holiday season, we are offering an exclusive seat sale for our Brisbane flights. We look forward to this exciting partnership with Queensland Australia which offers our travelers more reasons to fly to and explore the beautiful city of Brisbane and venture beyond the city to see the spectacular wonders of the Gold Coast and the state of Queensland,” said Bud Britanico, PAL vice president for sales.

“We thank our industry partners in Australia for working with us in pushing for further growth in travel and tourism across Philippine Airlines’ wide network in Australia,” he said.

The Philippine flag carrier operates the largest network of flights from the Philippines to four cities in Australia, offering more routes than any other airline.

PAL operates 22 weekly flights to and from Australia including the newly expanded daily flights between Manila and Brisbane, daily frequencies to Sydney, five weekly flights to Melbourne and three weekly flights to Perth.

PAL operates the popular Airbus A321neo aircraft on the Manila – Brisbane – Manila route, with 12 full-flat seats in business class and 156 seats in economy class.
