The Angelo King Foundation donated P1 million to the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) for the latter’s disaster relief operations, in response to the recent typhoons and widespread flooding that affected the country.
The donation, handed over by Angelo King Foundation chairman Gong Shu Fang to FFCCCII president Victor Lim on Aug. 4, will be used to purchase 5,000 bags of rice, each containing five kilograms.

The rice will then be distributed to residents in affected areas to provide immediate assistance to those who have suffered from the recent calamities.
The foundation has a long history of supporting social welfare projects and marginalized groups through its generous donations.
