The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) held a medical mission at Mahal ng Senor Church Compound in Navotas City on Oct. 6, 2024.
The activity was in response to the invitation of the Navotas San Rafael Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
FFCCCII president Dr. Cecilio Pedro led a team of five doctors, eleven dentists and members of the social responsibility committee, including leaders Hong Zhao Jian and Xu Huan Ran.
The team received a warm welcome from local chamber leaders Hong Wen Tan and Lu Cui Shun.
The clinic provided essential services to 495 patients, including dental care where 67 teeth were extracted and 303 pairs of reading glasses were distributed.
About 865 individuals from the surrounding community benefited from the medical mission.
FFCCCII standing consultant Ester Co, together with her son, donated P300,000 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their company, Purechem.
The contribution will further support FFCCCII’s free clinic projects, exemplifying the spirit of concern and philanthropy within the Filipino-Chinese community.
The event underscored the chamber’s ongoing dedication to serving local communities and enhancing access to healthcare services.
