Vice President and presidential bet Leni Robredo has recently stepped into the so-called Solid North territory with the opening of the Leni-Kiko campaign headquarters in Baguio City.
Former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. won by a landslide in the city against Robredo in the 2016 vice presidential race.
The two are facing each other again for the 2022 presidential polls.
Along with her supporters who collectively call themselves “Kakampinks,” Robredo led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of their headquarters and thanked her supporters for their unrelenting effort.
The Vice President also met with Baguio City Benjamin Magalong, who said he admires her and is “completely aligned” with her good governance.
Robredo visited the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in Baguio City to thank them as well as the Mountain Maid Training and Development Foundation staff for all the delicious desserts they offer to the tourists.
