Mangaldan, Pangasinan- Vice Governor Mark DG. Lambino expressed his gratitude to Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go for his intercession to the P10-million fund that benefitted around 10,000 individuals from 13 municipalities of Pangasinan.
In his letter to Go, the vice governor reported that beneficiaries received P1,000 each through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
“With your endless support and benevolence, we are able to provide financial assistance for the less-fortunate people of Pangasinan which is really a great help for them especially in this time of pandemic,” he stated.
Lambino also requested Go to look for additional funds to help more individuals in crisis situation from the remaining municipalities and cities of Pangasinan.
Lambino said Go was instrumental to the delivery of hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 vaccines to the 44 towns and 4 cities of Pangasinan, aside from the numerous health assistance he already extended through the Malasakit Center.
