SN Aboitiz helps host communities

Renewable energy solutions provider SN Aboitiz Power Magat signed agreements with local government units in Isabela, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya to address the immediate health and safety needs of communities.

SNAP-Magat said in a statement Wednesday it continues to deliver on its promise of social responsibility to host communities in Ifugao, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya through its corporate social responsibility fund.

The company purchased barangay motorcycle patrol vehicles for Barangay Planas, purchased personal protective equipment and medical supplies for Barangays Ambatali and Gen. Aguinaldo in the municipality of Ramon, Isabela; constructed a quarantine facility in barangay Taliktik, Cordon, Isabela; procured food packs for around 180 families of Barangay Calimag in Alfonso Lista; purchased a COVID response vehicle of Barangay Hapid in Lamut; a bailer machine project in the municipality of Aguinaldo in Ifugao; and potable water supply projects and public comfort room upgradeing in Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya.

“SNAP stays true to its commitment to making a positive impact, especially in these trying times. We understand and value the needs of our host communities and fully support efforts to improve health and safety as these are also two of our top priorities,” said Ed Bundalian, SNAP-Magat assistant vice president and plant manager.
