TV 5’s original videoke game show, Sing Galing adds another feather to its cap. This is upon the nomination of the said show in the 26th Asian Television Awards for the Best Adaptation of an Existing Format category announced last Tuesday, November 2.
Recently, Sing Galing was also named as the National Winner for Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021 for the Best Non-Scripted Entertainment. With these recognitions, this program continues to entertain its viewers not only on TV but also on the digital space.
Viewers of this show commended the chemistry of the hosts or what they called “singmasters” . Randy Santiago, Donita Nose and Ultimate Entertainer K Brosas make a perfect trio everytime they are on stage. With her wit and punchlines, Brosas always amazed all the ‘ka-awitbahays’ not only in hosting but with her vocal prowess as well.
Alongside the jukebosses Rey Valera and Ronnie Liang, Phenomenal Diva Jessa Zaragoza is still one of the favorites here in this show. With her hitsongs come with her truthful but fun comments for the singtestants, Zaragoza has established herself being an icon. And she maybe in the US now, she still manages to participate and show her support to the show. Her husband, Dingdong is also part of Sing Galing’s newest edition, Sing-lebrity as a judge.
Sing-lebrity Edition showcases the videoke singing talents of some of the most well-loved celebrities and social media personalities here in the country. It provides the laughter, music and excitement for all Ka-awitbahays, with the added purpose of helping out our fellow Kapatid, as celebrities get to sing and play for their chosen beneficiaries.
With the rising of Sing Galing’s reach on social media, the addition of Tiktok Superstars like Yukii Takahashi and Queenay strengthened it even more. They are tagged here as the “singtokers”. Every production number they make sure to perform the trending dance craze and always give their all.
Truly, these women represent the ultimate experience Sing Galing is offering, fun, playful and entertaining. Huge thanks to all these award giving bodies for seeing the effort bestowed upon in this show. And to all the avid viewers for making it possible to reach its highest rating since it started airing, 4.3 %.
Sing Galing airs every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday on TV 5 after Frontline Pilipinas. Sing-lebrity edition on the other hand airs every Saturday, 6 PM.
