Agents seize shabu worth P1.6B in Cavite buy-bust

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency was able to confiscate P1.65 billion worth of shabu from two suspected big-time drug dealers in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City, Cavite last Oct. 16.

PDEA director general Wilkins Villanueva identified the suspects as Wilfredo Blanco, 37, and Megan Pedroro, 38, who are both from Rodriguez, Rizal.

The suspects yielded 240 kilos of shabu with a street value of P1.65 billion and a van which was reportedly being used to transport the illegal drugs in Metro Manila and nearby areas.

The buy-bust operation was conducted in a parking lot of a fast-food restaurant along Aguinaldo Highway, Barangay Salitran 2, Dasmariñas

City, Cavite last Saturday at about 3:30 p.m.
