Grab, Move It to pursue pact for motor taxis

Grab Philippines, along with its partner Move It, has vowed to resume its motorcycle taxi services after the Transportation Department suspended their deal for violating several provisions.

“Together with Move It, we are currently engaging with our regulators, and we look forward to resuming our partnership soon,” Arvi Lopez, Grab Philippines communications manager, said in a statement.

“Grab is committed to empowering local businesses, and our partnership with MOVE IT is consistent with our ongoing efforts to help everyday entrepreneurs thrive and succeed,” Lopez said.

“The partnership will also enable Grab to offer Move It’s safe, reliable, and affordable motorcycle taxi service to our consumers,” he added.
