In response to public requests, Grab widens its food delivery service to select areas in Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna.
GrabFood now delivers in Meycauayan, Marilao, Bocaue, Malolos, Baliuag, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, and Pulilan in Bulacan; Tagaytay, Maragondon, Amadeo, and Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo in Cavite; and San Pablo, Santa Cruz, Santa Maria, Siniloan, Mabitac, Famy, Pakil, Pangil, Paete, and Magdalena in Laguna.
“We want to serve and empower more of our fellow Filipinos with this expansion,” said Grab Philippines head of deliveries Anton Bautista.
Grab also sees its food delivery service expansion into these new areas as a way to create livelihood opportunities for the local merchant- and delivery-partners.
“Through Grab’s digital platform, expertise, and technology, we can help the residents and local business owners of Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna to unlock new earning opportunities, boost economic activities within the cities, and thereby create a positive impact on their communities,” added Bautista.
The platform will roll out online tools and programs, such as Grab Online Shop, Campaign Packages, Grab’s Annual Merchant Conference, and Grab Merchant Academy, as well as its upcoming literacy program in partnership with International Finance Corporation, to help businesses in these Luzon provinces thrive amid changing market conditions.
