Viva Live is presenting a digital concert set to feature four of the most talented music artists in the Pinoy pop music scene today.
Entitled Four Hearts, the online show features the first onstage collaboration of Sam Concepcion, Janine Teñoso, Katrina Velarde, and Daryl Ong.
Taped as live at Teatrino in San Juan, the concert is a measured and disciplined reaction to social distancing and at the same time, a continuation of Viva Live’s commitment to entertain the Pinoy audience.
“We shot the show in Teatrino. We were in a bubble and we made sure that we practiced safety protocols. We used the different side of Teatrino that the audiences don’t usually have a view from. We didn’t really use the stage and that’s something people should watch out for,” Sam told Manila Standard Entertainment in a virtual interview.
With Four Hearts, Viva Live is further expanding the possibilities of what a “digital concert” can be. Foremost of which, is gathering four lead acts, each capable to headline a show of their own, but are now collaborating to deliver what promises to be a “dynamite show”
All four pop stars have shared history. Katrina Velarde and Daryl Ong are long-time friends. Both are known to hang out together outside of work. Daryl was actually present when Katrina tied the knot early this year. Daryl and Katrina also recorded and released a song last year titled “Love Me Now.”
Janine Teñoso and Sam Concepcion have likewise recorded music together. In fact, Sam was recently featured in Janine’s EP on a duet called “Umibig Muli.” Sam returned the favor of singing on Janine’s song after the latter sang one of the theme songs in a movie Sam starred in (Indak).
Directed by Paolo Valenciano, the Four Hearts digital concert streaming on Aug. 28 at 8:00 p.m on ktx.ph, and iWantTFC and TFC IPTV platforms for audiences on other territories. Ticket prices are P999 for ktx or $19.99 for and iWantTFC and TFC IPTV.
“Paolo, whether it’s a big venue like Araneta or a small one like Teatrino, he knows how to make it work. He’s very creative and very collaborative. The set, with the limited space and set, he was able to maximize it. And I think that’s going to be the charm of the show because we are aiming for a more intimate, up-close show even with our song choices, ” Sam said.
