Caloocan First District Rep. Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan has placed sixth out of 32 congressmen on the Top 10 District Representatives list in the National Capital Region (NCR).

This is according to the independent House of Representatives Public Satisfaction Survey conducted by RP Mission and Development Foundation Inc.

Malapitan garnered a 65% approval rating from the respondents based on the satisfaction rate of his performance as a legislator, his roles of representation and constituent service.

Serving for five years in congress, Malapitan has passed a number of laws and resolutions, including House Bill 7770 or An Act of Reapportioning the First Legislative District of the City of Caloocan into Two Legislative Districts, which was signed into law as Republic Act 11545.

He is also the co-author of House Bill 4236 or the Magna Carta for BPO Workers Act, which aims to protect Business Process Outsourcing employees and provide them with mandated benefits.

In terms of infrastructure projects, the first district congressman has coordinated with several national agencies to build roads, bridges, flood control walls and multi-purpose buildings for his constituents.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he also provided utmost service through his continuous medical and laboratory assistance, vaccination campaigns, and non-stop relief operations.

Malapitan has expressed his gratitude to his constituents for their trust and approval of his performance as a local legislator.

“I’m very grateful and privileged to serve. Malaking bagay po na nararamdaman ng ating nasasakupan ang lahat ng ating mga programa, gayundin ang ating dedikasyon na paglingkuran sila,” he said.

“One thing I can promise is that I will continue to improve. From the way we reach people, to the way I lead them. Patuloy kong pag-iigihin at pagbubutihin maging lingkod-bayan ng Caloocan,” the congressman added.
