Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade watches as an LRT-2 train passes by. After two decades, the LRT-2 extension project will finally get started. With the opening of the project, the current 2 to 3 hour drive via bus or jeepney from Recto in Manila to Antipolo, Rizal will last only 40 minutes an estimated 80,000 passengers will be added to the current 240,000 passenger capacity of the LRT-2.
