CLARK FREEPORT—Hundreds of thousands of Clark workers will be inoculated to reopen the economy and bring back normalcy specifically in industries, businesses and tourism activities in this freeport soon, a key official said over the weekend.

Clark Development Corporation President & CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan said that talks are in progress to facilitate the vaccination in coordination with the Department of Health and other stakeholders within the freeport.

Gaerlan identified two medical facilities including the Medical City Clark and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Medical Center as vaccination sites for private workers while the One Stop Processing Center is for residents and government workers.

In a meeting with the members of the Metro Clark Advisory Council, Gaerlan shared that arrangements were already made with the DOH3 and the Local Government of Mabalacat City for the COVID-19 vaccination program in this Freeport.

Communication have been sent to different business establishments and industries for them to submit the list of workers who would like to be inoculated under the COVID 19 program, he said.

A company access code was also given by CDC and sent to the e-mail addresses of Clark locators registered on their CFZ Jobs Portal Account. Using the company code, the companies may log in to the link provided on the memorandum circular issued by the state-owned firm.

Clark residents including senior citizens and those with comorbidities who would like to receive their vaccination in Clark are also included in the program.

Individuals belonging to priority groups such as those working at the New Clark City quarantine facilities, CDC’s Health and Sanitation Division, and health workers from Locator’s clinic including the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) and the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corporation have been in the priority list.

Gaerlan said CDC continuously coordinates with the members of the MCAC composed of MCAC Co-Chairman and Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., Porac Municipal Mayor Jaime Capil, Bamban Municipal Mayor Jose Antonio Feliciano, and Capas Municipal Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan, to develop more programs that will help the economy recuperate from the effects of the pandemic and bring more opportunities for communities within and near the Freeport.
