Hotel 101 Group employees donated 100 food packs to aid the COVID-19 response of the Pasay City local government.
“We laud the generosity of our hotel employees, who, in this time of crisis, are in the frontlines of hospitality, ensuring the safety and happiness of our guests while sharing what they have with the community,” said Hotel 101 Group General Manager Gel Gomez.
Likewise, the hotel donated 50 sets of packed lunch for doctors and frontliners stationed at the Pasay-MOA Giga Vaccination Center.
“We are happy to be able to give back to our community in Pasay to help our frontliners in this fight against COVID-19. We understand the challenges everyone is facing as our LGU is in the thick of vaccinating the population,” said Gomez.
“With everyone helping and pitching in to make this project a success, we will be able to weather and emerge stronger from this pandemic,” she added.
The Pasay City Alliance of Tourism Advocates (PCATA), of which Hotel 101 – Manila is a member, in cooperation with the office of Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, led the turnover of the food packs to the medical frontliners in the vaccination site.
The following hotels are participating in the food drive, which will run until June 4: Sofitel Manila, JEN Manila by Shangri-La, Hotel 101 – Manila, Conrad Manila, Golden Phoenix Hotel, Selah Hotel, Belmont Hotel, Citadines Bay City Manila, Kabayan Hotel, Midas Hotel and Casino, Holiday Inn Express, Hilton Manila, Savoy Hotel, Marriott Manila, Hotel Okura Manila, Sheraton Manila, and Heritage Hotel.
Hotel 101 Group is the hospitality arm of DoubleDragon Properties Corp, which operates Hotel 101 – Manila in Pasay City, Jinjiang Inn – Ortigas, Jinjiang Inn – Makati, Jinjiang Inn – Boracay Station 1, and Injap Tower Hotel in Iloilo City.
