The color-coded quarantine pass in Caloocan will be re-implemented this Wednesday.
Due to the record increase in the number of Covid19 positive cases in Caloocan, the city government will re-implement the Color-Coded Quarantine Pass System in the city’s markets and supermarkets starting Wednesday.
According to the latest data from the City Health Department, the number of active cases of Covid19 in the city has risen to 371 compared to November last year when there were only 80 active cases in Caloocan.
As a result, Mayor Oca Malapitan ordered the return of means for stricter safeguards such as the quarantine pass system in markets and supermarkets.
Only one quarantine pass for one household will be allowed. If the quarantine pass issued before has been lost, residents can go to their respective barangays to get another one, and barangay officials will ensure that the quarantine pass is not doubled per household.
Authorized Persons Outside Residence and employees are only required to show their company IDs when going to the markets or supermarkets.
If you have an Orange Quarantine Pass you can go to the market or supermarkets from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while on Sundays, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm; the Green Quarantine Pass can go to supermarkets and markets from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while on Sundays is 1:31 pm to 8:00 pm; and the last one, the White Quarantine Pass allows you to go to markets and supermarkets depending on your free time at work.
It was also clarified that in other establishments a quarantine pass is not required, but the capacity set by the IATF must be strictly enforced and health and safety protocols such as wearing a face mask and face shield and physical distancing are followed.
