Kelvin Miranda admits that there is pressure on his part now that he’s being tagged as the next Alden Richards. Home network GMA-7 is launching him as a major lead in the new teleserye  The Lost Recipe.

“Actually, I have mixed emotions when it comes to said tag,” he avers. “Of course, it makes me happy to get compared to someone who’s a good actor and very popular. But at the back of it, I also feel nervous because it’s Alden Richards. He’s on a league of his own. People’s expectations can be so high.”

But this doesn’t mean though that he’s retreating from the challenge.

“I’m not the type who will step back. In fact, I’m glad that people are taking notice of me at present. There is pressure, yes but I know it is part of my journey. There are still a lot of things that I have to learn and undergo in the ‘biz.”

In  The Lost Recipe, Kelvin is paired with  Mikee Quintos.

“She’s lovable! I admire her for her dedication to her craft,” ended Kelvin.
