CDC, locators donate P180K, relief goods to CamSur

Clark Freeport— The Clark Development Corporation (CDC), together with its partner locators, recently donated more than P180,000 worth of cash to extend help to the typhoons 'Rolly and Ulysses' affected families in the province of Camarines Sur.

The donations came from the combined efforts and initiatives of the state-owned firm, Clark locators, and individuals for the relief efforts extended to Naga City, Canaman, Magarao, and Calabanga in Camarines Sur.

The relief goods include four sacks of rice from the CDC Investment Promotions Division’s (IPD) staff as well as assorted grocery items, bottled water, and used clothes from Shore360.

SFA Semicon, Clark Liberty, Blessed Assurance Church, Salapungan Elementary School Batch ’78, and UST Microbio Drive were among the locators and groups that also contributed.

The turnover of donations was led by CDC Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for the Office of the President Engr. Mariza O. Mandocdoc, together with CDC Director Atty. Ana Liza A. Peralta, and CDC Asst. Vice President for External Affairs Rommel C. Narciso.

The donations were received by Ateneo De Manila University College Project Head Kathryn K. Vergara.

The CDC also recognized the effort of other contributors which include Atty. Mary Therese Gabrielle B. Estioko, Wyda Cosme, and Eunice May Dizon.

CDC is mandated to help the community in times of uncertainty through its various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs like the recently conducted relief operations in Metro Clark areas themed “Unity amidst Calamity.”
