The Russian and European Muay Thai Champion scored a close split-decision win over #2-ranked strawweight kickboxer “Golden Boy” Wang Junguang in the main event of the previously recorded ONE: INSIDE THE MATRIX IV, which aired last Friday, 20 November.

It was a nip-and-tuck affair at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with Zikreev pushing the action early on and Wang punishing him with counter hooks.

The tide turned in the second round when the Russian began mixing up his point of attacks with hooks and knees, and it was the Chinese kickboxer’s turn to eat a few counters.

Zikreev carried that momentum into the final stanza, as he turned Wang’s aggression against him, using his own superior footwork to counter seamlessly.

After three rounds, two of the three judges awarded the victory to Zikreev, giving him a huge head start in the promotion.

In the co-main event, Joseph “The Hurricane” Lasiri scored a close split-decision win of his own, outpointing #2-ranked strawweight Muay Thai contender Rocky Ogden.

It was an intense clash between two exciting Muay Thai stars with Ogden countering well and Lasiri absorbing the shots like a true champion.

In the third round, however, Lasiri began to pull away, landing combinations from within the pocket.

He also scored with knees and elbows to damage the Australian and steal the exciting bout in the final stanza.
