The third Philippine branch of New York’s iconic burger joint is opening in Makati this week.
Shake Shack on October 27 is welcoming customers to its Greenbelt branch, the first Shack to feature Filipiniana elements throughout its design.
The Makati store uses natural materials such as rattan and timber to create a banig-like pattern in the space. A feature element of this Shack is its pendant lamps, handcrafted and handwoven out of arurog vine by artisans of Hacienda Crafts. It also features an adequate al fresco dining space.
During the opening week, from Oct. 27 to Nov. 2, Shake Shack Greenbelt will offer free delivery via GrabFood for orders worth P1,000 and up, while the first 100 who will order via the app on Oct. 27 will each get a Shack Box of exclusive Shack Greenbelt merchandise.
The first guest on opening day will get a year’s supply (free for every monthly visit) of signature Concretes from Shack Greenbelt, while the first 50 guests to order for dine in or takeaway will receive free Shack shades, Shack20, and Auro chocolate bars.
As part of its commitment to promoting bayanihan, P100 from every purchase of Chick ‘n Shack at the Greenbelt store during the opening week will go towards Ayala Foundation’s “Your Support, Their Future,” campaign for Filipino students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
