A few Kapamilya stars have been “jumping ship” of late, but there are solid ABS-CBN talents who remained with the network and expressed their loyalty. Take Liza Soberano for instance.
In her recent interview with ANC, the actress who is often called local showbiz’s most beautiful face, declared that even if she has received offers from other networks for possible projects, she still opts to stay with ABS-CBN.
“I got several offers and I’m thankful for them. But personally, I want to remain a Kapamilya for now. I believe that now is the time when ABS-CBN needs the support of its talents especially that it’s undergoing a serious crisis,” the 22-year-old star said.
The actress believes that it is important to let the management feel the love and support of people who became part of their family over the years.
“It’s the perfect time to show your gratitude, so to speak. That’s why I vow to continue supporting my home network until the time when it recovers and goes on air again on free TV. I think what they need is unity and they need to see that they are being supported by the people who have been with them since the beginning,” she related.
“I have nothing but respect for everybody at ABS-CBN and I want to continuously support them. I believe that one day we’ll be back stronger and better than ever. I have strong faith and trust that it will happen,” she added.
Liza recently met with Star Cinema executives and ABS-CBN top honchos for her future projects. In the same interview, she mentioned that did have multiple meetings with them where a number of good materials for her and Enrique Gil were presented.
“This October, I won’t be doing anything yet, but definitely, early next year, I’ll be busy,” she noted.
Meanwhile, while her showbiz schedule is not yet that hectic, the pretty lass finds other ways to generate income.
