Good news for Manilans: Based on the final record of the Sta. Ana Hospital, all affected healthcare workers have recovered from COVID-19, the Manila Public Information Office posted on its Facebook page.

“We are following strict hospital infection protocols, strict social distancing rules and proper hospital cohorting. Terminal cleaning and disinfection of Manila Infectious Disease Control Center is also completed to all areas making the Hospital a safe workplace,” said Sta. They also continue doing swab testing for hospital medical frontliners.

“We are scheduled for the third round of mandatory swab testing among our healthcare workers,” said Padilla.

She thanked Mayor Francisco Domagoso and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan for giving support to medical and healthcare frontliners in the six district hospitals of Manila.

“We thank Mayor Isko and Vice Mayor Honey for their efforts in improving the facilities of Sta. Ana Hospital and the rest of our district hospitals in the city. Aside from this, they were also able to provide our medical and healthcare frontliners with new equipment that will ensure their safety as they proceed with their work,” said the hospital director.

Padilla also rallied the leadership of the hospital to continue the strict health monitoring of their hospital workers even as they are currently COVID-free.

“We had zero COVID-19 cases among our healthcare workers for the past two weeks already. However, this small victory shouldn’t make us stop from intensifying our efforts in fighting COVID-19 inside and outside the premises of Sta. Ana Hospital,” said Padilla.
