After a series of mishaps along the Edsa Busway, the Metro Manila Development Authority on Sunday, Aug. 23, begins erecting steel bollards – as many as 6,000 pieces – to replace the concrete barriers in certain areas and fence off other vehicles. Traffic chief Bong Nebrija says the move is meant to maximize use of the alloted space on Edsa including underpasses and overpasses. CNN
