Mexico surpasses 500,000 coronavirus cases: ministry

Mexico City, Mexico | Mexico on Thursday surpassed half a million confirmed cases of COVID-19 after registering 7,371 new infections in 24 hours, authorities said.

The country now has 505,293 cases overall, with 55,293 deaths, the Ministry of Health said.
