Power grid operator NGCP donates six sets of real-time polymerase chain reaction machines to government hospitals in the National Capital Region, as the country continues to grapple with increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. As part of its P1-billion donation for COVID-19 response and relief efforts, NGCP provides two sets each of RT-PCR machines to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine and Lung Center of the Philippines and one set each to V. Luna General Hospital and Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory. A complete set is composed of an ABI 7500 FAST RT-PCR machine, a desktop computer and UPS.
