Mayor Oscar Malapitan has launched a free legal assistance program for residents of Caloocan City who need guidance on legal matters, especially in this situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The mayor advised residents to call city hall at the numbers they posted, in case they could not go to a lawyer in person because of quarantine regulations.

For residents who have their own transportation, they can schedule a meeting with the City Legal Department at New City Hall, Malapitan said.

The "no waiting time" rule is ready for those who have scheduled legal services.

This will help the people of Caloocan since the operation of the Public Attorney’s Office, which provides free legal services to poor individuals, is not yet 100 percent due to COVID-19.
