Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Domagoso on Wednesday announced the opening of the city's new drive-thru COVID-19 testing center.
Domagoso said the new COVID-19 testing facility will use the serology testing machines recently purchased by the city government.
"This is part of our continuing effort to massively test, to test ‘EVERY MANILEÑO’, especially those who will pass by Lawton," the mayor said.
The facility was opened at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
The facility is located in front of the Andres Bonifacio Monument near the Manila City Hall,
As of Monday, July 13, Manila had 3,407 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of this number, 1,373 cases are active. Recoveries totalled 1,858 while the death toll was 176.
