The Bureau of Immigration deported seven Chinese nationals for being fugitives from justice and working in the country without the appropriate permits and visas.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the aliens were deported aboard two separate flights of China Southern Airlines bound for Xiamen that departed from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Expelled from the country and banned from returning were identified as Yong Li, Li Jia, Ye Bin, and Wang Xuening, who are fugitives wanted for economic crimes in China while Xu Xiansheng, Gong Yaan and Xie Yuhong were deported for engaging in unauthorized black sand mining operations here.

“They were all sent home pursuant to deportation orders issued by our Board of Commissioners which also directed that they be placed in our blacklist,” according to BI port operations chief Grifton Medina.
