Gone are the days when one has to leave the house to run several mundane errands: pay the bill, go to the grocery, buy something. The Internet has once again proven itself useful in the time when movement is limited and the best thing we can do is stay at home.
Shop for groceries
One of the fastest-growing on-demand grocery and essentials delivery services in the country, GrabMart now has over 150 partner outlets and new categories since its launch two months ago.
Now available in 17 cities in Metro Manila, GrabMart allows Grab app users to purchase groceries from Ultramega, Lawson, Fisher Supermarket, and Shell Select; over-the-counter medicines from Generika and Family Doc; fresh produce and meat products from Zagana, Meat Depot, The Market by Holly Farms, and Les Aunor Farmer’s Market; and home Internet solutions from PLDT and Smart.
GrabMart Beta was first rolled out in April starting with retail partners Robinsons Supermarket, Great Deals E-commerce Corporation, Family Mart, Starbucks at Home, ASSI Fresh Plaza, Fetch! Naturals, Dog City, and Barcino.
To access GrabMart, tap on the “Mart” tile within the Grab app.
Buy pet products
Pet parents in need of food, grooming, or toys for their furry friends can now avail of Pet Express’ call and collect service available in select branches.
Select items from Pet Express online catalog on Facebook or Instagram, create a shopping list, call the preferred branch to place an order, and collect the item/s via Grab Express.
Participating Pet Express branches include those at SM North Edsa, SM Cubao, SM Fairview, SM Megamall, SM Aura, SM Makati, SM Masinag, SM CDO Premier, V Mall, Estancia, Madison Galeries, and Festival Mall.
Order an LPG tank
Got another recipe to try out? Running a pandemic-driven online food business? Phoenix Super LPG lets customers order their tanks online and have them delivered to their doorsteps.
The brand’s new and improved online order form is accessible on its official Facebook page (facebook.com/PhoenixSuperLPG) through the “SHOP NOW” tab and website (www.phoenixfuels.ph/lpg) through the “ORDER NOW” button.
The order-and-delivery system lets customers find the nearest Phoenix Super Hub in their area, and determine product price and availability for faster delivery.
Send money
In its effort to make sending money safer and faster, LBC Express, Inc. rolls out its Instant Peso Padala online service. Transaction fee is waived until July 5.
To send money, customers need to go to www.lbcexpress.com/ippbanktransaction and provide details including the sender and the receiver’s name and the amount of money to be sent. A Reference Number will be generated for the customer, which they will receive via email and SMS.
Use the Reference Number to deposit transaction amount to any LBC express bank account. Send the proof of credit by uploading the receipt to the link found in the confirmation, after which the recipient can now claim their money at any LBC branch or partner remittance center (Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Express, and MLhuillier).
