The Public Works Department said it is looking at expanding the scope of the supplemental toll operations agreement of NLEX Corp. to expedite the construction of a P16-billion elevated expressway from Navotas to Anda Circle in Port Area, Manila.
“The Anda Circle project is something that we are looking at right now,” Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said during a virtual briefing over the weekend.
NLEX in December last year proposed to construct Harbor Link Port Access Mobility Facility–a 5.1-kilometer elevated expressway from Navotas to Anda Circle at a cost between P15 billion and P16 billion.
Villar said to expedite the approval process of the project, the agency is looking at expanding the scope of the existing STOA of NLEX.
The project will be connected to C3-R10 Section of NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10, a 2.6-kilometer, 4-lane elevated ramp that extends NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 to Radial Road 10 using C-3 Road as its route.
