Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Domagoso has announced that the Manila City government has allocated about P36,445,000 for 5,007 policemen, who also served as frontliners during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Mayor said that the allowances will be issued to police personnel through checks.

“You will be protected of a new system that you will get the entire allowance,” Domagoso said.
“Tapos na yung araw na alam ko naman, nababalitaan ko sa MPD na pulis sa kapwa pulis natotolongges. Hindi na mangyayari iyon,” he added.
According to Domagoso, the allowance given to the police personnel will cover the months of January up to March.
