Laguna Police Provincial Director Col. Serafin Petalio II said Thursday a total of P7.48 million worth of suspected shabu had been seized by law enforcement agents from three suspects who were arrested during a drug buy-bust operation in Santa Rosa and Biñan City.
Petalio identified the suspects as Samson Tan, Ansadin Kamid, and Dexter Saliek.
Police Lt. Elfredo Bicomong, acting head of the Public Information Office of Camp Paciano Rizal in Sta. Cruz, Laguna said operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Santa Rosa Central Police Station conducted the buy-bust operation at Brgy. Don Jose, Sta. Rosa City Laguna.
This resulted the seizure of at least 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million.
A follow up operation led to the confiscation of 600 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P4.08 million, assorted drug paraphernalia, and an undetermined amount of money in bundles of 20-peso bills.
