The Ospital ng Tondo resumed its regular operation on Monday, the Manila City's Public Information Office said.
The hospital was closed from May 11 to 24 to give way to terminal cleaning, disinfection, pest control, and rearrangement of the facility for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related operations.
The Manila PIO said, citing data from the hospital's management, said the number of healthcare workers who were infected with COVID-19 in the hospital has reached 13.
Of the number, three have already recovered. All the infected personnel are on quarantine.
Earlier, Manila Mayor “Isko” Domagoso said the closure would allow frontliners who might have contracted the disease to undergo quarantine and medication.
