AS the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to sweep the country, Secretary John Castriciones has set protocols for the implementation of the new normal at the Department of Agrarian Reform "to be strictly followed by the entire workforce."

COVID-19 would not stop DAR to do its task beyond the completion of the land distribution and acquisition process, he said.

"With the pandemic still in our midst and with no news yet of a cure, this scenario of abnormal working conditions will continue in the months to come," he said.

"Therefore, we at DAR have set guidelines to be followed by the officials and employees to be safe while working so we could continue helping and serving our farmers," he added.

The guideline was created to provide specific protocols for the work processes and procedures in the various offices of the DAR in the central, regional, provincial, municipal and barangay levels.
