San Miguel Corp. is fighting hunger with its ‘nutribuns,’ energy-filled breads which it started producing for the sole purpose of making food available to the hardest-hit communities in the country due to COVID-19. It has, so far, distributed 600,000 pieces and continues to produce at 29,000 buns a day. Each bun has 250 calories and is high in dietary fiber and a good source of iron and iodine.
