The Body Shop, Planet CORA lead coastal cleanup

Eco-conscious cosmetics and skin care brand The Body Shop teamed up with non-profit organization Planet CORA to lead a coastal cleanup at Las Piñas Parañaque Critical Habitat Eco-Tourism Area (LPPCHEA). 

The cleanup activity held last year gathered almost 200 volunteers who collected a total of 2.29 tons (over 2,000 kilograms) of waste in a span of two hours. 

Majority of the waste collected were plastic bottles, said The Body Shop.
