Fury wants trilogy with Wilder than fighting Joshua

Tyson Fury made it clear that he would want a trilogy and even a fourth or fifth match against Deontay Wilder than facing the current unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

The British boxer's explanation was simple, fighting Wilder has the bigger prize than fighting Joshua for the possible undisputed heavyweight match if he comes out victorious.

"I think the money is too big not to have it. This is the prize-fighting game and there is too much money in the pot for him not to want the rematch, even if he loses,” said Fury in an interview confirming the trilogy even before they enter the ring on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Arena for their mega-rematch.

However, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told that they will put a lot of pressure on the winner of the Wilder-Fury II to make the undisputed champion match this 2020.

Wilder, on the other end, is putting less focus on the topic as he only hopes both him and Fury can walk out of the ring uninjured.

“I always tell the people to don’t focus on the third one. We got to get through on the second one first. We just never know what may happen in the second one,” Wilder stated.

“We all know that boxing is the ‘hurt’ business and hopefully we will able to go in healthy and come out the same as we came in. But unfortunately, certain things happen on the ring and we have bad intentions on this fight,” he added.
