A new restaurant and café opens in Tondo, Manila.
Homegrown chain Kuya J opens its second Café + Restaurant outlet at Deca Mall in Tondo. The newly opened branch serves comforting coffee brews such as the rich Kuya J Café House Blend, creamy cappuccino, and chocolatey tablea coffee, along with favorite desserts such as guava cake, tablea cake, and salted egg cheesecake.
Customers can also enjoy single servings of Kuya J’s bestsellers such as the Grilled Scallops, Beef Caldereta, and Chorizo Dinamitas.
Gracing the opening were Kuya J Group president Winglip Chang, marketing director Ton Gatmaitan, chief operating officer Richard Joseph Li, Kuya J Café + Restaurant Deca Mall franchise owners Cherry Rocha, Aileen Rocha, and Joanne Rocha, Comisario Central, Inc. chief operating officer Anton Dator, 8990 Holdings, Inc. chairman emeritus Luis Yu, Jr., and singer Pops Fernandez.
Following the Tondo branch launch, the third Kuya J Café + Restaurant has recently opened at Rockwell Sheridan in Mandaluyong City.
