'Make It With You' topbilled by Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano is one of the most watched programs nationwide.

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (30.3 percent) still holds the title of being the top choice of Filipino viewers, followed closely by the new teleserye and LizQuen-starrer, Make it With You (27.5 percent). On the other hand, Judy Ann Santos’s Starla (27 percent) ended its run on primetime TV strongly.

Other Kapamilya shows that made the cut include TV Patrol (24.5 percent), Your Moment (20.7 percent), Maalaala Mo Kaya (19.9 percent), and Rated K: Handa Na Ba Kayo? (19.7 percent).

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN ruled across all time blocks in January, particularly in primetime (6:00 p.m. to 12:00 mn), where it scored an average audience share of 41 percent, versus GMA’s 33 percent. The primetime block is the most important time of the day when most Filipinos watch TV and advertisers put a larger chunk of their investments in to reach more consumers effectively.

The Kapamilya network also won in the morning block (6:00 a.m. t0 12:00 noon) with an average audience share of 34 percent, while GMA only got 27 percent, as well as in the noontime block (12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.) with 37 percent, in contrast to GMA’s 33 percent, and in the afternoon block (3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) with 39 percent, versus GMA’s 37 percent.

Multinational audience measurement provider Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes that represent 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population.
