Police arrested a woman at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Tuesday in connection with a kidnapping case in Cavite.
The suspect was apprehended upon her arrival from Singapore by a joint team from the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and the Imus City Police Station.
Authorities said the arrest was based on a standing warrant issued by a Cavite family court for kidnapping and failure to return a minor, with no recommended bail.
Police said the suspect was informed of the charges against her and of her constitutional rights, with the arrest documented to ensure transparency and accountability.
The woman was turned over to the CIDG Manila District Field Unit for documentation and further legal proceedings, police said.
