Actress Carla Abellana has married her non-showbiz partner, Dr. Reginald Santos, in a private wedding ceremony.
On Dec. 27, Saturday, the actress exchanged vows with Reginald in an intimate celebration attended by their families and closest friends. The ceremony was officiated by Alfonso, Cavite Mayor Randy Salamat. In a series of photos shared by GMA, was in a white bridal gown and veil, while Reginald wore a white tuxedo. The wedding ceremony was said to be in Tagaytay.
Guests who attended the ceremony also uploaded wedding photos on social media, including images of the couple sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.
For the past months, Carla has kept her relationship largely private. Days before the wedding, the actress posted photos from a bridal shower held at a beauty clinic in Parañaque, attended by her mother and close friends.
The “Shake, Rattle & Roll” star confirmed her engagement earlier this month after posting a photo of an engagement ring, which was later verified publicly by TV host Boy Abunda.
Carla said in earlier interviews that she hoped to share her happiness with the public “when the time was right.”
The actress was previously married to actor Tom Rodriguez, with their divorce finalized in 2022.
