Vice Ganda and Sigrid Bernardo’s “I’m Perfect” emerged as the top winners at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal, held Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati.
Vice Ganda won Best Actor for his performance in Call Me Mother, a story about a gay man, Twinkle, who raises Angelo on his own. He became emotional after being recognized for his portrayal.

Krystel Go, an actress with Down syndrome, earned Best Actress for her role in I’mPerfect, which tells the story of Jiro and Jessica, adults with Down syndrome, who fall in love and strive to prove the legitimacy of their romance to their families.
I’mPerfect also took home the Best Picture award. Second Best Picture went to UnMarry, while Third Best Picture honors were shared by Manila’s Finest and Call Me Mother.
Jeffrey Jeturian won Best Director for UnMarry, while the film also earned accolades for Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor for Tom Rodriguez, and Breakthrough Performance for Zack Sibug.

Manila’s Finest won the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award and multiple technical honors, including Best Cinematography for Raymond Red, Best Sound for Roy Santos, Best Musical Score for Frederik Sandoval and Emerzon Texon, Best Production Design for Digo Ricio, and Best Original Theme Song for “Sandalan” by Vehnee Saturno.
Other recognitions included the Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award for Excellence for Bar Boys: After School, Best Supporting Actress for Odette Khan in the same film, Best Child Performer for Lucas Andalio in Call Me Mother, Best Visual Effects for Santelmo Inc. in Shake, Rattle & Roll Evil Origins, the Gender Sensitivity Award for Call Me Mother, and Best Ensemble for I’mPerfect. The Best Float award was shared by UnMarry and Manila’s Finest.

The 51st edition of MMFF Gabi ng Parangal celebrated the actors, directors, producers, screenwriters, and industry workers behind this year’s eight festival entries.
